Paid Media reference

This page collects, in tables, all the reference information for the Paid Media area: platforms the module aggregates, global panel metrics, available filters, campaign states, campaign objectives and table columns. This isn’t a step-by-step guide; for that, see the how-to pages in this area.

Nevent centralizes campaigns from the following three platforms. The data comes from the ad accounts connected to your organization.

PlatformDescription
MetaFacebook and Instagram Ads campaigns managed from Meta Ads Manager.
TikTokTikTok Ads campaigns managed from TikTok Ads Manager.
GoogleGoogle Ads campaigns managed from Google Ads.

Nevent doesn’t create ads. Ads are always created and edited on their corresponding source platform.

The panel header shows four indicators for the selected period and platform. Each indicator includes the percentage change versus the previous period.

MetricDefinition
SpendTotal ad investment in euros for the selected period and platform.
ResultsTotal number of results obtained. The type of result depends on each campaign’s objective (it can be clicks, visits, leads or conversions).
Cost per resultTotal spend divided by the number of results. Shows how much it costs on average to get one result.
ROASReturn on Ad Spend. Attributed revenue divided by spend. A ROAS of 5 means that for every euro invested, five euros of revenue are attributed. It only appears when the platform returns revenue data; otherwise it shows as dashes (—).

The filters are available in the bar between the metrics header and the campaign table. Changing any filter updates the indicators and the table.

ActiveThe campaign is serving ads and generating real-time data.Metric columns show numeric values.

ArchivedThe campaign is historical. Neither active nor paused.Metric columns show dashes (—).

Paused and archived campaigns generate no spend or results during the time they stay in that state, so their columns appear empty in the panel.

The objective indicates what result the campaign is meant to achieve. Nevent shows the objective exactly as defined by the source platform.

ObjectiveDescription
AwarenessMaximize the number of people who see the ad (impressions and reach).
TrafficDrive people to a URL, such as an event’s ticket sales page.
