Fan profile and list reference

This page describes all the fields, columns and statuses that appear in the Audience area of Nevent: the Fans list, an individual fan’s profile and the Segments list.

Use it as a quick reference whenever you need to know what a particular value means or what information each section contains.

The Fans list (/users) shows every contact registered in your organisation in a paginated table.

The Summary tab is the default view. To learn how to use each tab, see the guide Managing fans.

The top of the Summary tab shows four metrics for the fan.

Number of purchasesTotal transactions completed by the fan.
Events attendedNumber of events the fan has attended.
Nevent ScoreAutomatic score of the fan’s engagement with the organisation. Includes a level label, for example “Low engagement”.

The Communications block shows the fan’s consent status for each marketing channel. The system includes a help text stating: “Consent is per organisation. Source: user preferences and delivery events.”

ChannelObserved statusNote visible in the interface
Marketing emailNo unsubscribeNo additional note.
Transactional emailActive”Tickets and account notices: doesn’t require marketing acceptance, but does require a valid email.”
Marketing SMSNo unsubscribe”No decision recorded: allowed by default.”
Marketing pushNo unsubscribeNo additional note.
WhatsAppNo opt-in”Requires explicit opt-in: not recorded.”

The Email status block shows information about the hygiene of the fan’s email address and its effect on deliverability.

The system’s help text states: “A hard bounce marks the email as invalid and automatically unsubscribes it from marketing; a complaint unsubscribes it from marketing. Both statuses are reflected here and in all contactable counters.”

FieldDescription
Email addressShows the fan’s email address.
Hard bouncesIndicates whether the email has hard bounces recorded.
Validity statusIndicates whether the address is marked as invalid.
EventAutomatic consequence
Hard bounceThe email is marked as invalid and the fan is automatically unsubscribed from marketing.
ComplaintThe fan is automatically unsubscribed from marketing.

Both statuses affect all the organisation’s contactable counters, including those shown in the Segments list.

The Segments list (/lists) shows all of the organisation’s audience segments with contactability information per channel.

ColumnDescription
NameThe segment’s name.
Est. attendeesEstimated number of fans that make up the segment.
Estimated marketing audience (email, SMS, push)Breakdown of the number of contactable fans per channel, with the email contactability percentage.
Last modifiedDate and time of the segment’s last edit.
ActionsMenu of options available for that segment.

This column breaks down into three sub-columns: email, SMS and push. For the email channel it also shows the contactability percentage, calculated over the segment’s estimated total.

The percentage reflects how many fans in the segment have a valid email with no marketing unsubscribe. Excluded fans are those whose email is marked invalid, who have a hard bounce recorded, or who have filed a complaint.
