Work with your email templates from the chat

Before launching a mass email, it’s always worth reviewing the template: that personalized data displays correctly, that the subject line isn’t truncated, that the design looks right. Normally that means opening the editor, finding the template, previewing it and sending yourself a test.

With Nevent AI you can do that review from the chat. The assistant can preview the template with data from a real contact, clone it for a new campaign, or send you a test directly to your email.

Sofía, community manager of a nightclub, has four base templates she rotates each week. Before using one, she asks the assistant to show it with the data of a specific attendee to check that the personalization works.

Available in “Read-only” mode and above:

  • “List all my email templates”
  • “Which templates have I used in the last 3 months?”
  • “Show me the full content of the ‘Purchase confirmation’ template”
  • “How many times has the ‘Monthly newsletter’ template been used?”
  • “Preview the ‘Weekly schedule’ template with data from a real attendee”

Read and prepare Available in Read and prepare mode or higher.

Beyond querying, the assistant can:

  • Create a new template — describe the content and the assistant generates the base structure in your account
  • Update a template — modify the subject line, content or tags of an existing template
  • Clone a template — duplicate a template to use as the base for a variant without modifying the original
  • Rename a template — change the name without touching the content
  • Preview with real data — the assistant resolves personalization variables using a sample contact
  • Send a test — send the test email to up to 10 recipients to validate the design in a real inbox

How Sofía uses it before each weekly send

Section titled “How Sofía uses it before each weekly send”

Sofía has a template called ‘Weekly schedule’ that she uses every Wednesday. Before creating the campaign draft, she wants to make sure the personalization works correctly.

“List my templates and tell me when I last used each one”

The assistant shows the four active templates with the date of last use.

“Preview ‘Weekly schedule’ with data from a real attendee”

The assistant resolves the variables (name, city, next event) with data from a contact in the database and shows how the email would look in the inbox.

“There’s a variable that appears blank. Rename the template ‘Weekly schedule v2’ and update the welcome field to have fallback text if the name is empty”

The assistant updates the template.

“Send me a test to my email before using it in the campaign”

The assistant sends the test email. Sofía reviews it in her inbox — everything looks correct.

“Create a campaign draft using ‘Weekly schedule v2’ for the ‘Active last 30 days’ segment”

The reviewed template is ready for Wednesday’s campaign.

  • It cannot edit the visual design (blocks, colors, images) from the chat — that is done in the Nevent visual editor
  • It cannot import templates from other platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo)
  • Creating templates from scratch is functional but produces basic HTML; for more elaborate designs use the visual editor
