How Marta launched the 2026 edition of her festival

Marta organizes a jazz festival with 18,000 annual attendees. The launch of the 2026 edition is in three weeks. Her goal for today: identify the segment of most loyal attendees to give them early access to season passes, prepare the email campaign and have everything scheduled before 12:00.

She has access to Nevent AI in “Read and prepare” mode.

  • Nevent AI connected in Claude or ChatGPT
  • “Read and prepare” access level (minimum)
  • Estimated time: 20 minutes
  1. Identify the loyal attendees segment — Marta wants attendees from the last two editions who didn’t request a refund.

“Preview a segment with attendees who bought a ticket for the 2024 edition and the 2023 edition, excluding those who requested a refund in either one”

    The assistant calculates: 3,800 people.

  2. Refine the segment for reachability — Not all contacts have a valid email.

“How many of those 3,800 have a valid email and are not on the suppression list?”

The assistant crosses with deliverability data: 3,540 reachable contacts.

  3. Save the segment — The size makes sense for early access.

“Save it as ‘Loyal 2 editions — Early access 2026’”

The assistant creates the segment in the Nevent account.

  4. Review the email template — Marta has a ‘Season pass announcement’ template from last year.

“Preview the ‘Season pass announcement 2025’ template with data from a real attendee to see how the personalization looks”

The assistant shows how the email would look with the attendee’s name, city and data resolved.

  5. Create the campaign draft — Everything is ready for the draft.

“Create an email campaign draft for the ‘Loyal 2 editions — Early access 2026’ segment using the ‘Season pass announcement 2025’ template. Subject: ‘Early access for you: Jazz 2026 passes’”

The assistant creates the draft in the account. Marta reviews it in the panel and adjusts the email body.

  6. Schedule the send — Monday at 10:00 is the time that has worked best in previous editions.

“Schedule that draft for next Monday at 10:00”

The assistant asks for confirmation, Marta confirms, and the send is scheduled.

  7. Review first sales — Two days after the send, Marta wants to see the result.

“How many tickets were sold in the first 48 hours since we sent the early access campaign?”

The assistant crosses sales data with the time window after the send and returns the number of passes sold.

The result of this workflow combines two Nevent capabilities. On one hand, Nevent’s event audience segmentation, which allows building contact lists with very precise historical behavior criteria. On the other, Nevent’s Email Marketing module, which manages delivery, open tracking and performance data for each campaign.

Nevent AI acts as the bridge between both: instead of navigating from one section of the panel to another, Marta describes what she wants and the assistant performs the operations in the correct order.

  • If your festival is the first edition, you can adapt the segment to “people who subscribed to the newsletter in the last 12 months” or “attendees at similar events in your CRM.”
  • For a venue event (not a festival), reduce the segment to “attendees in the last 6 months” instead of two annual editions.
  • If you also want to send by SMS or WhatsApp in addition to email, create the draft for each channel separately with the same segment.
