Is the email address always required to import a contact?

Yes. It is the only system field that cannot be unchecked when you generate the import template, and without it the contact record cannot be created.

Which values does the Gender column accept?

The sample template that Nevent generates uses "mujer" and "hombre" (Spanish for female and male), in lowercase. The import also accepts "female" and "male".

Which values does the Marketing consent column accept?

The sample template that Nevent generates uses "s" to give consent and "n" not to give it. The import also accepts "y", "yes" or "true" and "no" or "false".

These are the fields Nevent recognizes natively when it generates the import template or when you map the columns of your file.

Custom fields

Besides the system fields, you can map columns of your file to custom fields you have created in your organization. How many custom fields your plan allows is confirmed by the Nevent team.

When you generate the import template from Nevent, the sample row uses these values, in Spanish:

File size and formats

Nevent accepts two file formats to import contacts:
